Film photography has a unique aesthetic quality that has been popular with artists and photographers
for generations. But film cameras fell out of favor when digital cameras came on the scene.
Photographer James Kyle jumped on the digital band wagon, but soon went back to his film camera roots. Kyle says there’s a certain nostalgia with film photography that evokes memories of simpler times when people had to wait for their photos to be developed.
During his presentation, he’ll discuss how truly easy it is to use a film camera, its advantages
and how satisfying it is to develop your own photographs.
Presentation sponsored by Frank and Annette Rolfe.
