The Sainte Genevieve Museum Learning Center would like to announce that April 12th and 13th will be “Rozier-Audubon Days,” sponsored by the Audubon’s Restaurant in Ste. Genevieve.
On April 12th at 11am, to commemorate the anniversary of John Audubon and Ferdinand Rozier’s disembarkment from France, the Museum will hold a ribbon cutting for the new exhibit titled “Partners in Business, Friends for Life” in the Sainte Genevieve gallery.
Following the ribbon cutting, Carolyn Bach will present a program on the relationship between John Audubon and Ferdinand Rozier and their time in Sainte Genevieve.
The following day on Saturday April 13th the museum will present a program based around the work of Ferdinand Rozier and John Audubon.
Starting at 11am, the program will feature examples of the type of guns Audubon used, a presentation on local bird conservation, an encore of Carolyn Bach’s presentation, and a talk on the history of the Rozier family in Sainte Genevieve after the time of Ferdinand and Audubon.
